Topilin told how matkapital will be indexed since 2020.

Maternal capital in a new way

Starting next year, the maternity capital will be indexed annually, and in 2020 it will grow to the rate of inflation. This was told by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia Maxim Topilin.
He clarified that the exact percentage of indexation is still unknown - the Ministry of Economic Development is checking the forecast. But it is assumed that the size of the matkapital after the increase will not be less than 470 thousand rubles.
He also clarified that the increase in matkapital will not be "one-time". It is planned to index it annually.

Previously, it was not increased for several years due to difficult financial conditions, but now every year from January 1 it will increase by about 4-5 percent.
