The best universities of Russia

Choose a university? One of the main criteria here is experts call the level of employment of graduates. The new issue of the thematic rating of the British company QS is to help.
The list of 500 leading universities in the world whose graduates are most competitive in the labor market. Russian universities are represented by 13 universities, seven of which are participants in Project 5-100.
Five Russian universities with the most sought-after graduates look like this: Moscow State University. Lomonosov, St. Petersburg State University, MGIMO - these educational giants are in the top 200, and MSTU. Bauman and the Higher School of Economics - took places in the top 250. By the way, according to the compilers of the rating, MGIMO is in first place in terms of "graduate employment" - a criterion that measures the number of those who work full or part time during the first year after graduation. The remaining Russian universities are MIPT, MISiS, Tomsk Polytechnic, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Novosibirsk Technical State University, Novosibirsk State University of PFUR and REU named after Plekhanov - placed on the ground from 300 to 500.

Note that the leading positions in the ranking, like a year ago, were retained by American universities. Massachusetts Institute of Technology comes first in the world, followed by Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
The indicators by which universities are ranked in this rating are very different from others that QS publishes. Here you will not find the columns "citation level" or "number of students per teacher".

When compiling the rating, only five criteria are important: reputation among employers, success of graduates, partnership with employers, interaction of employers with students, and direct employment of graduates.
