2. Krasnodar Territory - 30.9 mln. $ (19.78%);
3. St. Petersburg - $ 25.26 million (16.17%);
4. Primorsky Krai - $ 16.65 million (10.66%);
5. Trans-Baikal Territory - $ 11.55 million (7.39%);

Average prices for onion imports increased by 3.5% compared to 2018 and amounted to $ 623.73 per ton.

Due to increased demand for onions, after the introduction of quarantine restrictions, the export of onions outside the Eurasian Economic Union was temporarily banned until June 30, in order to provide the country's population with enough food during a pandemic.
