The train delivered 40-foot containers for the PSA Group from Wuhan (China) to Durge (northern France), having traveled a length of 11,000 km.

The train continued its journey through Poland, Germany and arrived at the terminal in Durza (France) on November 22, 2017. After passing the customs clearance, the cargo was delivered directly to the daughter factory PSA "Française de Mécanique" in Dourven in the north of France.
Passing through seven countries along the trade corridor "Silk Road", with an average speed of 600 km per day, the train arrived at the destination in less than 3 weeks.
In cooperation with partners from different countries and GEFCO Forwarding specialists in Shanghai, Moscow and Paris, GEFCO provided coordination and project management.
The dispatch of the first fully loaded container train is part of the China One-Way One Way initiative aimed at taking advantage of the New Silk Road that connects China to Europe.
The route through France to this route is an important step in strengthening the country's position on the New Silk Road and creating closer relations between suppliers and consignees. Until then, most of the routes of the New Silk Road had final destinations in Germany and Poland.
